New Family Pics

So we finally took a new family picture now that we have Stewart here. July 17, 2012
The five Grand kids, who did an amazing job at sitting still for a picture this time. :) June 10, 2012

Elise's Birthday 6/19/2012

We also celebrated Elise's birthday while we had everyone together of Stewart's blessing. She told us that for her birthday she wanted flowers and a balloon and a princess cake with a yellow dress. Not very hard requests to fill. :)

Elise's cake, although I had some much needed help or I never would have got it done on time. I think I was trying to do to much but luckily I have wonderful family who helped me get everything ready for the luncheon and the birthday party.

Elise and some of her cousins!
Uncle Peter "helping" with the cake. Okay more like waiting around until he could have the leftover frosting to squirt in his mouth. :)
My little princess with more fun dresses!
Her cousins loved helping her open and inspect her presents!

What a spoiled and very happy little girl!

Stewart's blessing 6/17/2012

So it is kind of a challenge to find a blessing outfit to fit a three week old. Considering they are usually twice as big when their blessed. Even the preemie size didn't fit him very good. So we finally used a newborn size we had borrowed and just didn't put the jacket with it. I think he looks adorable though, but then again I am biased. :)

Four generation pics with his grandparents and great grandparents. Elise had 6 great grandparents when she was born and Stewart has 4 great grandparents. They are very lucky!

Stewart's first week with us 5/29/2012

So I know I am slow but here are more pictures of our family. These pictures are pictures of our first week with Stewart.
 At the hospital.
 Elise loves her baby brother!
My sister and her family gave me some flowers while I was in the hospital but Elise thinks they are hers and tells me that she will share them with. :)
Finally home! Stewart's first day home!

Elise was most excited to see her brother when we got home. We set Stewart down in the front room and went to say hi to Elise (who was in her room) but when she saw us she grinned and ran past us, pushing us out of the way, straight to her baby brother.
She always wants Stewart down on her level so she can see his eyes and talk to him, keep him company, read books to him and much more!

She even had to have Stewart right next to her on her blanket while she watched a movie. She told us that he could lay next to her because he wanted to lay on her pink blanket. :)
 My cute family playing!
Our little glow bug. Stewart had to be on the bilirubin light for a little over a day.
Elise and Grams spending quality time together when she came to spend the day with us while Spencer was gone. :)
 Cuddle time with Grandma :)
Story time before bed. Elise insists that Stewart always reads with us. It is really cute and very good that she wants Stewart to do everything with her and us.
Spencer has always loved Winnie the Pooh and so we found a Winnie the Pooh blanket when Elise was born and took a picture of her and daddy in their blankets so we had to continue the tradition with Stewart. So here they are in their Winnie the Pooh blankets

Our cute little boy

So our Stewart is here. He was born on May 29, 2012 at 9:17 pm. He weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. He is such a cutie with a full head of dark hair. We are so grateful to have him here finally and that he is healthy and strong. Elise is so excited to have a baby brother. She hasn't got to hold him yet so I will have to put up some more pictures of our two cuties.

This is when I was in labor. We took the picture mostly to show my cute Christmas tree that I got to haul around anytime I wanted to go anywhere. It has fluids and my antibiotic, the pitosin and then the devices to make my monitors wireless when I was up.

Fun pics with our family up to May 26, 2012

So we have a lot of fun in our family. It is always fun to see what Elise will come up with next.
Elise loves to "help" you brush your teeth while you help her finish brushing her teeth.
We bought some books at a second hand store and as soon as we got home Elise immediately plopped down to start reading them. She loves books. I love that she loves reading and being read to.
Elise and Stetson having fun, as usual.
Elise playing with Josef on the swings.

She asks almost everyday who is coming to play at our house or who's house we are going to. She loves to play with other kids, especially her cousins. She will definitely love it when her baby brother is big enough to play with, I hope.
Elise pinning the fly on the frog's tongue at Troy's birthday party.
Josef and Elise having frog races at Troy's birthday party.
My little possum being so helpful when I was trying to make the bed.
Elise was eating a jolly rancher while we were shopping. She thought it was pretty fun that it turned her tongue blue.
For some reason when Elise crashes and can't quite make it through the day without a nap she crawls under the computer desk and goes to sleep. Usually when one of us is working on the computer but still I don't know why it is so comfortable.

Elise went and got my hair clips and decided to do her own hair. I hope she does a little better when she is older but for a almost three year old it wasn't too bad.
Our cute little princess in her chariot as we head off for a picnic at the park. She likes to use her umbrella to shade her from the sun.
My cute family on our walk to the park.
 May 7th.
May 28th. I got big a little slower this time but I think that I am definitely as big with Stewart as I was with Elise. I carry my babies all out front but that's okay.

Soon to come: pictures of our new baby boy. If he doesn't come before tomorrow then they are going to start me. So by the end of tomorrow we should for sure have our baby boy, yeah!
