So the biggest thing we wanted to see on this trip was Neuschwanstein Castle. Neuschwanstein is supposedly the castle that the Disney castle is modeled after but we just thought it looked really cool and so this was the one castle we had decided we wanted to go inside and see.
Town around the castles.
The Father's castle, across from Neuschwanstein. It was raining when we got here and we thought, "Oh, great we wanted to walk up to two castles and now it is going to rain." Although it didn't rain to much and as soon as we got up to the Father's castle (Castle Hohenschwangau) the rain stopped and the clouds just kept it from getting to hot the rest of the time.
Our cute little walking umbrella that was having way to much fun wandering around while we waited for our tour to start.
The valley around the castle was beautiful. If we were to plan another trip there we would plan in an extra day to hike around the area.
The courtyard of the Father's castle.

Walk up to Neuschwanstein. The easiest castle hike we have been to so far.
Spencer really liked this art work on the castle.

Bridge behind the castle that we walked to after we toured the castle.

Our cute little prisoner.
From the bridge behind Neuschwanstein castle. Spencer made fun of me because I held on the railing. I don't know why but heights bother me more since I had Elise but most of all it was because the wood boards gave some. Let's just say my mom would not have appreciated the bridge or walked out on it. It really was completely safe it was just very high.
